We had a fantastic day out at Trebah Garden. It's really dog friendly although dogs have to be kept on a lead. We made our way down through the valley garden to the private shingle beach. The hydrangeas look spectacular this time of year. We had clotted cream ice creams from the beach cafe and Holly had a doggy paddle. Then we walked back up through the garden with Holly very excited about seeing a duck, loads of Koi carp and a squirrel... Doggy heaven! I always seem to mention the tearoom when I do a review but the cafe at Trebah is exceptionally dog friendly with a covered outside seating area and dogs are allowed inside the cafe too. The food is excellent and we really enjoyed our beer battered fish and chips.
