A great day out for the family set in a pleasant riverside site. There is a petting zoo of farm animals, a play mine, working watermill, museum on the shale oil industry, a narrow gauge railway and tractor rides.
Well-behaved dogs are admitted providing they are kept on a lead at all times and away from the more nervous of our livestock.
