Detached 18th century farmhouse in a secluded setting with wonderful views across the Axe Valley towards the white cliffs of Beer. The comfortable bedrooms are in the main house or in a separate summer house. There is a patio to the front of the summer house with stunning countryside views and a large pergola covered with vines, honeysuckle and climbing roses. Breakfast is served on the patio or in the main farmhouse. The guesthouse sells several homemade marmalades and jams, along with handmade knitted clothing. Dogs are allowed in bedrooms for a small charge by prior arrangement. There is a suitable exercise area for dogs 100 yards from the guesthouse.

Activities such as climbing, abseiling, orienteering, rafting and mountain biking can be arrranged. Self catering accommodation is also available. The farm is a popular choice for group holidays. Dogs are allowed in bedrooms and public areas. Dogs can be exercised in the surrounding countryside. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on the lead around livestock. We have three of our own dogs and two cats so they need to be well socialised.

16th century traditional thatched farmhouse set in 10 acres of the breathtaking Blackdown Hills, within a few miles of the East Devon coast. The farm operates as a rescue centre for horses and ponies. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and a four-poster room is available. Hearty breakfasts and cream teas are served in the dining room. You are more than welcome to bring your dogs. Please inform us that you are bringing your dogs when booking. There is no charge for dogs. Please keep your dog on a lead when exercising in a field where livestock are grazing. Normally one field is unoccupied by livestock, where owners are welcome to let dogs run free. It is advisable to keep dogs on a lead when in the car park, as the road is quite busy.
