The lodge is situated in a secluded valley beside the River Jed in 25 acres of land, which is a haven for bird life. There is a spacious lounge with a log fire in colder months.
Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement in the ground floor bedroom. They are not allowed in the lounge or dining room.

Dogs are allowed in bedrooms at a charge of 5 per dog per night. Dogs are welcome in the bar and reception.

The Croft is a dog friendly bed and breakfast, situated just off the A7 on the outskirts of Selkirk. It is set in a secluded location adjoining Selkirk Common and golf course, but only 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
Well-behaved pets are welcome and the garden leads directly onto Selkirk Common, which is ideal for dog walking. There is no charge for well-behaved dogs, but please do not leave them unattended in bedrooms.
