Converted 17th Century inn retaining much period charm located in the heart of the Lake District National Park. There is a choice of bars and lounges and a popular restaurant overlooking the gardens and Skelwith bridge. Bedrooms are all individually designed, including two rooms with 4-poster beds. Most of the rooms have views of the fells, open countryside and the river Brathay.
Dogs are allowed in bedrooms. There is a charge of £5 per dog per night. Owners are asked to make sure that dogs are clean and dry before bringing them into the hotel and not to allow dogs on the bed/furniture. Dogs should not be left unattended in hotel rooms at any time or exercised in the hotel grounds.
