14th century former manor house set on a wooded mountainside with spectacular views across Snowdonia. Bedrooms are individually decorated to reflect the different periods during which the house was built. Some bedrooms are located in the adjacent coach house. The hotel is set in 85 acres of grounds, including a kitchen garden. The restaurant has won awards for its delicious food based on fresh local produce. Lamb, fish and Welsh farmhouse cheeses are a speciality.
We regret that we do not take pets in the main house but there are several rooms available in the Coach House. Dogs, however well behaved, must not be left in the bedrooms unattended - at meal times just pop them into your vehicle. Alternatively, we can offer the services of a dog sitter at the rate of £8.00 per evening if booked in advance. We make a nominal charge of £7.50 per dog per night.
