After an interesting route down some very narrow lanes we arrived at Avoncliff. With the river and canal alongside the pub it looked so British. The pub was very busy but we found our table and ordered Starters & Sunday lunch. There was enough food to fill me and treat Ness to a bit of beef. We also ordered Lamb and fish. All the food was well cooked and tasted lovely. Staff are really friendly and helpful. My wife thought that the toodle pip cider was fantastic and ness loved the treat behind the bar. After lunch we did one of the many walks in the area which rounded off a great day out. Will defiantly go back again.
