Dogs are very welcome in Silk Wood, but please keep them on a lead near livestock and in the car park. Dogs are not allowed in the Old Arboretum, Maples Restaurant, the Great Oak Hall and the shop. There is an outside covered area at the front of the cafe with great views that is very popular with dog walkers. Lots of bowls of water for dogs next to the cafe toilets.
