A speciality beer shop and traditional working malthouse. There are regular tours of the malthouse. The shop stocks a comprehensive range of over 200 bottled beers, including Edwin Tucker's exclusive own brand.
Permanent orchid display house at Burnham Nurseries. The largest selection of orchids species and hybrids available in the UK are on sale in the nursery. It's all under cover so a good place to visit whatever the weather.
Cruise on the River Dart from/to Totnes and Dartmouth. Wildlife, Sandridge house and the Greenway Estate, once the home of Agatha Christie, can be seen from the boat. Cruises can be combined with scenic steam train or bus tours. All the cruise boats offer snacks, tea and coffee and have a licensed bar and toilet facilities.
Dogs on leads are welcome. £1 charge for each dog to any station.
A range of different cruises are offered including circular cruises of the River Exe, Jurassic Coast cruises, wildlife cruises and day trips to Torquay and Brixham. Refreshments and toilets are available on board.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Some trips are very busy with lots of children and adults aboard, which some dogs may find stressful.
