This is one of my regular pubs visited on dog walks from Leven to Lower Largo. Always made welcome with dogs and lots of times water and biscuits provided for dogs. The weather on my latest visit was very wet and dogs were also very wet, but no problem dogs still allowed into bar area, good food available. Would recommend the Crusoe as a place to go.

We were given a warm welcome at this historic inn. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. We sat in the beamed bar which is full of character. We ate there a couple of times and really enjoyed the pub classics of cod & chips and steak & chips both cooked to perfection with top quality ingredients. Holly even got some free dog biscuits from behind the bar on our way out! It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The pub is popular with visitors and locals alike and they also do takeaway fish & chips.

We stayed for a week in this clean and comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage has central heating and warmed up really quickly. The lounge and kitchen are upstairs with views across the countryside from the roof windows. The surrounding hotel grounds are perfect for walking your dog in the morning. The hotel has a resident spaniel and you can sit in the bar with your dog. We chose from the restaurant menu and the food was delicious. The low tables in the bar are a bit tricky to eat from though! Nearby Trebah Gardens, Gweek Seal Sanctuary and the Red Lion at Mawnan Smith welcome doggie visitors. If you want to access the hotel WiFi you need to sit in the bar as the reception is non existent in the cottage.

Date of visit:
My dog Sophie loved this beach as she had the freedom to run around and I had the confidence that she wouldn't escape onto any main roads.

Well, what a bit of fun! You must wear the Gnome hats or you wont fit in... the pathways are a bit narrow and very up and down; which made the Gnome displays very interesting. The garden area needed a little attention, but very quirky. The quiz sheet was great to keep the kids entertained. Nice but small Gnome shop and cafe with helpful owners. All sandwiches freshly made. Plenty of water for the dogs. Overall a good, light-hearted few hours of fun.
Easy to reach, just follow the brown signs from A361 to a spacious carpark. The beautiful unique gardens are a short walk away with plenty of quirky pathways leading to pretty grounds and lakes (many with 'champion' award winning trees). Quite a small but charming tearoom with outside seating. The staff were very friendly and our puppies were given water and treats plus invited inside the tearoom where we had a lovely lunch. Its also worth visiting the well stocked plant shop to purchase your favourite plants as they are great value for money. Overall a nice day out.
